The Queen Mother, one of the fiercest critics of the then Edward VIII's decision to abdicate over his love affair, watching the coffin of the Duchess of Windsor leaving St George's Chapel, Windsor after today's funeral service. The Queen Mother watched as the Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince and Princess of Wales escorted the hearse to the burial ground next to the Duke of Windsor's grave at Frogmore
