Scope and content
Family Moment. The ceremonial temporarily forgotten for a very human little gesture, the Duke of Edinburgh takes the tiny hand of his son, Prince Edward, who made a surprise appearance in the arms of the Queen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace today (Saturday). The Queen brought out the baby, to the cheers of the crowd, when she came on to the balcony with other members of the Royal family to watch the RAF fly past in honour of her official birthday. Earlier, she had taken the salute at the Trooping the Colour ceremony on Horse Guards Parade
