The announcement was made after the Queen gave her consent at the Privy Council to the marriage of the 35-year old Prince, 16th in line to the Throne, and the Roman Catholic Divorcee and former wife of merchant banker Mr Thomas Troubridge. The couple plan to marry in Vienna
