Off Southsea, Hampshire. Prince Charles in diving gear today when he went 40 feet beneath the choppy seas of the Solent to inspect a ship that was once a flagship in King Henry VIII's navy. The Prince made two 30 minute dives on the wreck of the Mary Rose, one and a half miles off Southsea. It is the second time the Prince, who is President of the Mary Rose Trust formed to excavate the ship which sunk in a battle with the French fleet in 1545, has dived to the wreck
