Royal Train Fleet to be Refurbished. An unissued library picture of The Queen's saloon aboard a Royal train. Transport Secretary Nicholas Pidley told MPs this afternoon that around £7,500,000 will be spent in the next four years refurbishing the royal train fleet. Bulletproof windows in particular carriages was an obvious requirement.
