It is the first official portrait since the 1970 Annigogi portrait, and is full length on canvas 7 feet x 4 feet 6 inches. The Queen is wearing a soft primrose evening gown with the Order of the Garter sash and the Royal Engineers Brooch. For the first time a Royal Corgi is included in a Queen's portrait. The corgi's name is Brush. The painting will hang in the Mess Hall of the Royal School of Military Engineering at Chatham. It is one of Narraway's contributions to the Royal Society of Portrait Painters' exhibition opening at the Mall Galleries on 12 June, the Queen's official birthday
