Model to scale of the Royal dais for the Investiture of the Prince of Wales
A model to scale of the Royal dais for the Investiture of the Prince of Wales at Caernarvon Castle showing the canopy in perspex. Twenty-five feet wide at the front tapering to 9 feet 6 inches at the rear, the canopy is unique in design, being the first, as far known, to be constructed entirely of cemented acrylic in such a large structure. The circular plinth of the dais, which will be in Welsh slate, will have a diameter overall of 28 feet 10 inches

Inside of Invitation Card for the Investiture of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales at Caernavon on 1 July 1969. The design, by Mr Henry Gray under the direction of Sir Anthony Wagner, Garter King of Arms, shows at the top the Ostrich feathers Badge of the heir-apparent. On the left, The Prince's dragon supports his personal flag for use in Wales, recently assigned him by the Queen: on the right one of the Supporters of the Arms of the Duchy of Cornwall (a Cornish Chough with an ostrich feather) supports a Banner of the Arms of the Duchy
