She was born on 4 August 1900 as Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the daughter of the 14th Earl of Strathmore. Married His Royal Highness the Duke of York (Prince Albert) on 26 April 1923. He succeeded as King George VI on 11 December 1936 and died 6 February 1952. Her two daughters are Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II, born 21 April 1926 and Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret, born 21 August 1930. Obit
