Princess Anne and Captain Phillips
It's close… it's very close. Though lovely Princess Anne and her dashing young Dragoon's Guard Lieutenant are 400 miles away, he's in Germany and she's in Sandringham, this is how close they were on the day of that now famous quayside kiss. The 24 year old Olympic rider, Mark Phillips, with his cheek close to hers at Tweseldown. Her in pensive mood close to him. Now they are away from each other... for a few months at least. But these are memories which the 22 year old Princess will keep close to her heart. Perhaps, just perhaps, the next time they'll be seen as close as this will be when they announce their wedding day
