A model to scale of the Royal dais for the Investiture of the Prince of Wales at Caernarvon Castle showing the canopy in perspex. Twenty-five feet wide at the front tapering to 9 feet 6 inches at the rear, the canopy is unique in design, being the first, as far known, to be constructed entirely of cemented acrylic in such a large structure. The circular plinth of the dais, which will be in Welsh slate, will have a diameter overall of 28 feet 10 inches
