Prince William takes a look through a telescope held by his mother Princess Diana in the control room of HMS Brazen today. They were taken on a guided tour of the ship, which is moored in the Pool of London, by Prince Andrew who is a helicopter pilot attached to HMS Brazen

The arms comprise a thistle plant with leaves and flowers growing from a grassy mound; about to alight on the topmost flower is a bumble bee. Basically this is based on the device which has been used by her family. The motto she chose is "Ex Adversis Felicitas Crescit" meaning "Out of Adversity"

The silver medal to commemorate Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's wedding

Royal Wedding Medal. A £25 sterling silver medal to be issued by the Royal Mint, commemorating the royal wedding on 23 July of Miss Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew. The medal will weigh 37 grams, and measure 44 millimeters across. Altogether, 20,000 of the hallmarked medals will be issued by the mint, and striking will start either tomorrow or next week

Farewell Burmese. This June 1986 photo from files shows Britain's Queen Elizabeth at this year's Trooping the Colour ceremony, riding Burmese. It was the last time she rode the horse at this ceremony, it was announced from Buckingham Palace Monday. In future, the Queen will drive to her annual birthday parade by carriage, meaning the end of the 18 year double act. The Queen has decided to retire the horse, nearly 24, and does not want to start again with a new side saddle horse
