Responds to news that Eleanor's brother Herbert [Bertie] is to be married to Joan Thornycroft daughter of Sir Hamo Thornycroft RA, sculptor. Joan was also, via her aunt Theresa Sassoon née Thornycroft, first cousin to Siegfried Sassoon
