In white pure silk specifically woven for Princess Anne and called "Soie Annello", the dress is of traditional Princess line, emphasised with fine graduated pink tucks. The Elizabethan sleeves , over finely-pleated white silk chiffon under-sleeves , are delicately edged with pearls and mirror jewels. The transparent shoulder train is of pure silk net delicately embroidered with floral sprays of silk and silver thread, embellished with pearls and mirror jewels
